A little love for SnowDrops

A little love for SnowDrops

Poor SnowDrops.

It’s a hard working serum but it doesn’t get much attention. So I’m going to give SnowDrops a little love and offer a huge discount to entice you to give it a try.

SnowDrops were designed to address a multitude of skin concerns. Things like:

  • Loss of firmness
  • Sagging
  • Dryness
  • Dull complexions
  • Fine lines.

SnowDrops main jobs are to tighten, hydrate, brighten and reduce fine lines so your skin looks as good as you feel.

SnowDrops is unique. It’s a jelly like serum with a subtle cucumber scent (from organic cucumber hydrosol) that’s fun to put on. It melts on contact with your skin then seeps in deep to bring moisture and a host of active ingredients to where you need it most.

SnowDrops main actives are peptides and stem cells.

Peptides

What’s really cool about using peptides is that they are small enough to be absorbed into the skin and once there they get to work signaling and stimulating your skin to produce more proteins! These are those same proteins your skin needs in order to maintain a firm, smooth surface and a healthy barrier.

Clinical research shows that using peptides (there are a lot of them and different types do different things) in your skincare can help to brighten and firm your skin.

According to Dr. Jwala Karnik,“While collagen molecules are too large to penetrate the skin, peptides are small enough to penetrate the skin, [and] when applied topically, they signal the skin to repair itself. In response to these signals, your skin may boost its production of collagen peptides.

We use several peptides in SnowDrops including the very well researched Matrixyl 3000. They stimulate the production of collagen and elastin for firmness and elasticity. Matrixyl 3000 is a combination of two peptides. In one study it was shown to reduce the depth of wrinkles by 45%  over the course of two months (patience pays off).

Let’s talk about stem cells.

Stem cells, both animal and plant, are undifferentiated cells (sort of like blank slates) that have the ability to rapidly divide and become different types of tissue.

There are high tech medical procedures and research that use stem cells to help heal joint and organ problems and fight certain diseases. Those stem cells are usually the person’s own cells that are specially processed for a specific purpose. Each person’s stem cells are unique to them.

That's not what we’re doing with stem cells in our skin care. We’re using stem cells from specific types of plants (no animal cells in SunWindSnow) and we’re not trying to make skin cells grow. Or at least not directly.

Plant Stem Cells are Full of the Good Stuff

First of all, plant stem cells that are used in skin care are no longer alive. In fact, they’re purposely broken open to release their valuable contents, also known as plant cell extracts. It turns out that plant stem cells are full of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, as well as nourishing skin building blocks like peptides, and amino acids.

Why Plant Stem Cells Are Good For Your Skin

All of those compounds mean a lot of good things for your face.

“These are the building blocks for cell rejuvenation (peptides and amino acids), so over the past few years, there have been a variety of both animal- and plant-based stem cells in skin care products,” explains Dr. Michelle Green a board-certified dermatologist in New York City. “Stem cells naturally have antioxidant properties and they nourish skin cells which promotes cell turnover and increases collagen production.”

This could result in fewer lines and wrinkles, improved skin texture and tone, and younger, better-looking skin, Dr. Green says.*

Even without the potential of plant stem cells to fight against wrinkles and fine lines, there is the huge benefit of powerful anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds. These work to protect your skin from environmental damage (such as UV rays from the sun, air pollution, blue light, and more). Anti-inflammatory ingredients reduce the damage from inflammation to the skin as a whole and cells in particular.

In SnowDrops, we use sustainable Globularia cordifolia (an alpine daisy) stem cells. Also known as the  Heart-Leafed Globe Daisy, this plant cell extract  is the hottest botanical babe on the block promising to decelerate aging and accelerate the regeneration of cells.

It’s a tough little plant that thrives in a high, cold environment. With daily use globularia stem cell extract reduces micro-inflammations and redness, evens out your complexion and enhances your face’s translucency and radiance. It has been clinically studied and found to improve the appearance of dull skin by 67% and reduce inflammation by 23%.**

There are more hardworking ingredients in SnowDrops and they work together to become more than the sum of their individual parts.

Here are some of the highlights-

Organic Licorice & Organic Reishi Mushroom calm melanocytes for decreased hyperpigmentation (age spots) and more even toned skin

Vegan Hyaluronic Acid gives you major moisturization

Frankincense Essential Oil soothes inflamed skin, tightens pores, and promotes healing

Argan Oil  nourishes and enriches skin while balancing excess shine

Eyebright which helps skin appear tighter and brighter – perfect for the thin, fragile eye area

Speaking of eyes, SnowDrops is really effective as a firming and line reducing eye serum. It works to rapidly reduce under eye puffiness while it tightens your face (and neck) tissue and minimizes wrinkles and discoloration.

Here’s what our fans are saying about SnowDrops

“Sometimes, I forget to use moisturizer because it makes my skin so soft and moist.”

“It’s easily absorbed and makes my skin feel softer and smoother, especially combined with the day moisturizer. I have very sensitive skin, and have had no issues with any of the sunwindsnow products -- love that they use natural ingredients and are lightly scented. The condition of my skin has definitely improved since I began using them -- brighter, less reactive and better hydrated. Two thumbs up from this 60-something sporty girl!”

 How to use Snowdrops

If you’re wondering how to use SnowDrops, put one pump into your hands and apply to face and neck after cleansing at night (you can use it in the morning too). If you’re using DewDrops or GloDrops, apply them first, wait a moment until they are absorbed, then apply SnowDrops. Follow with AlpenGlo, SunDown, or SunUp.

Give it a a month or two and you should notice firmer, more elastic and more glowing skin.

If you haven’t tried Snowdrops, now’s the time.

SnowDrops are normally $68, but I really want you to give them a try. Especially as the weather cools and the air becomes dryer.

So, for a limited time, SnowDrops is available for $35.

Yes, it is 50% off so get yours today.
